What is a true happy body?

What Exactly IS a True Happy Body?


For the past seven years I have asked myself that question. 

It started with me, 50 pounds heavier, asking, “How can I lose weight to have my ideal body?”
And then, as the weight started to come off,  it progressed to, “What exactly IS my ideal body, and how do I know if I’m in it?”

Finally, it evolved to, “How do I experience my ideal body–my being– in this world?”


For seven years, I have honed and tweaked, tried and failed, asked and answered. 

And for the past two years, I have supported dozens of clients as they have walked the same path and asked similar questions of themselves.


And today, I want to share with you my answer. 


Your True Happy Body is: a state in which your body, your brain, and your emotions are not at war with themselves, or with each other. 


This looks like being able to make decisions, feel good about your decisions, and act on your decisions.


Your True Happy Body is: when your thoughts, your feelings, and your actions align with the truth of how you desire to be, feel, and show up in the world. 


This looks like your outside actually matching the truest version of who you are on the inside.


Your True Happy Body is: when your body is expressing more from the ideal, or the highest version of what’s possible for you, rather than expressing from the fearful, diseased, outdated, or comfortable parts of you. 


This looks like your body matching your healthy genetic blueprint (physical health) and your being matching your soul’s desire blueprint (soul health).

Your True Happy Body is: being free from the “shoulds” screaming at you all the time because you are confident that you already weigh, feel, do, etc what’s right for you.

This looks like confidence in yourself and your ability to KNOW what actually IS right for you and being able to silence the internal and external critics that point out all of the ways that you aren’t measuring up.  


Your True Happy Body is YOU…but the very best version of you. The version of you that you know, deep down, you’ve always been MEANT TO BE.
